Ethical AI Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 26, 2026 Version: 1.0 Applies to: All Jordan Koch AI-Enabled Applications

BINDING AGREEMENT

By using any AI-enabled application developed by Jordan Koch, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use these applications.

PROHIBITED USES

You MAY NOT use these applications for:

1. ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES

Violence, terrorism, or harm to others
Manufacturing weapons, explosives, or dangerous devices
Drug production, trafficking, or illegal substance guidance
Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
Hacking, unauthorized access, or malware creation
Child exploitation or abuse of any kind (CSAM)
Human trafficking or slavery
Any activity prohibited under federal, state, or local law

2. HARMFUL CONTENT

Self-harm or suicide promotion
Dangerous health misinformation
Eating disorder promotion
Abuse or torture guidance
Harmful “how-to” content
Content that could cause physical harm

3. HATE SPEECH & DISCRIMINATION

Racist, sexist, or discriminatory content
Hate speech targeting protected groups
Genocidal or extremist content
Radicalization or recruitment material
Content promoting violence against groups

4. MISINFORMATION & MANIPULATION

Generating fake news or false information
Creating deepfakes for deception
Propaganda or manipulation campaigns
False medical or health advice
Election interference or voter manipulation
Scientific misinformation

5. PRIVACY VIOLATIONS

Unauthorized surveillance or spying
Stalking or tracking without consent
Data theft or unauthorized access
Privacy invasion tactics
Non-consensual monitoring

6. HARASSMENT & ABUSE

Cyberbullying or harassment
Doxxing (publishing private information)
Swatting or false emergency reports
Revenge porn or non-consensual intimate content
Blackmail or extortion

7. FRAUD & DECEPTION

Phishing email generation
Scam content creation
Fake document generation
Impersonation for deception
Financial fraud schemes

8. MALICIOUS MANIPULATION

Psychological manipulation
Gaslighting content
Abusive relationship tactics
Cult recruitment material
Predatory behavior guidance

ACCEPTABLE USES

You MAY use these applications for:

MONITORING & ENFORCEMENT

We Monitor For:

Prohibited content patterns
Illegal activity indicators
Harmful intent
Policy violations
Suspicious usage patterns

We Log:

All AI requests (content hashes, not full text)
Detected violations
Enforcement actions taken
User responses to warnings

We DO NOT Log:

Personal communications (unless flagged)
Legitimate business content
Private information
Safe, ethical usage

ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS

Minor Violations:

First offense: Warning + logged
Second offense: Stern warning + 24-hour restriction
Third offense: Week-long restriction

Major Violations:

First offense: Permanent restriction on specific feature
Second offense: Permanent AI access removal

Critical Violations (Illegal Activity):

Immediate action: Complete AI access termination
Logging: Incident logged to secure, tamper-proof storage
Reporting: May be reported to law enforcement
- CSAM → NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children)
- Terrorism → FBI/DHS
- Other crimes → Appropriate authorities

APPEALS PROCESS

If you believe you were incorrectly flagged:

Document the incident:
- What you were trying to do
- Why it’s legitimate
- Evidence of lawful intent
Contact: GitHub issues (kochj23)
- Provide incident timestamp
- Explain your use case
- Request review
Review process:
- Human review within 5 business days
- Decision is final
- Reinstatement possible if error confirmed

Note: Appeals for illegal activity will not be considered.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE

We Comply With:

Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA)
DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act)
COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)
Section 230 (CDA)
State and federal criminal laws
International human rights law

We Report:

CSAM: Required by law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A)
Terrorism: National security threat reporting
Immediate danger: Duty to warn/protect

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You Must:

Use AI responsibly and ethically
Respect others’ rights and privacy
Comply with all applicable laws
Report bugs or vulnerabilities responsibly
Accept consequences for violations

You Must NOT:

Attempt to bypass ethical safeguards
Use AI for prohibited purposes
Help others violate these terms
Reverse engineer content filters
Disable monitoring systems

DATA & PRIVACY

What We Collect:

Usage statistics (anonymized)
Violation logs (content hashes only)
Performance metrics
Error reports

What We DON’T Collect:

Full text of safe content
Personal communications
Email content
Private documents
Identifiable information (unless violation)

Your Privacy:

Local AI processing (default)
No cloud AI required
No telemetry by default
Open source transparency
Encrypted storage

LIABILITY & WARRANTY

Disclaimer:

These applications are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind. While we implement strong ethical safeguards, we cannot guarantee perfect detection of all misuse.

User Liability:

YOU are responsible for YOUR use of these applications. Misuse may result in:

Criminal prosecution
Civil liability
Permanent ban from applications
Reporting to authorities

Developer Liability:

Jordan Koch is not liable for misuse by users. However, we:

Implement robust safeguards
Monitor for violations
Report illegal activity as required by law
Continuously improve detection

UPDATES TO TERMS

We may update these terms as:

Laws change
New threats emerge
Technology evolves
Policies improve

Notice: Users will be notified of material changes

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By using these applications, you acknowledge that:
